Leah grew up in Thornlie and graduated from Thornlie Senior High School.
With her partner, she chose to raise her family in Martin in the beautiful rural part of the City of Gosnells.
Leah spent 14 years working in retail, 11 of those years as a manager in the same business. In management she learned how to communicate and collaborate with a wide variety of people.
Public speaking is one of her strengths and she is not afraid to ask hard questions or to take part in difficult conversations.
For the last few years, Leah has regularly attended council meetings, keeping a finger on the pulse of what is happening across the city. This has given her insight into how council operates, how decisions are made and how those decisions affect the lives of residents.
