Strategic Community Plan
The City's updated Strategic Community Plan has been adopted by Council.
Background
At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 25 July 2023, the City of Gosnells adopted the Strategic Community Plan 2023 - 2033, which contains the following vision for Gosnells:
‘We will celebrate our vibrant and diverse community, embrace our natural surroundings and drive the development of opportunities, to support a safe and sustainable City for future generations.’
The City completed the recommended four-year review of the Strategic Community Plan in 2023 and developed a progress report demonstrating some of the key achievements since the Plan was reviewed in 2021.
The new Plan also includes a report on the community consultation that took place during the review.
A Two Year Minor Review of the Strategic Community Plan was endorsed by Council on 26 August 2025 .
Corporate Business Plan
The Corporate Business Plan is a four year plan that is reviewed annually and details the specific actions that the City will deliver to achieve the objectives of the Strategic Community Plan.
The City's current Corporate Business Plan 2025 - 2029 was adopted by Council at its Ordinary Council Meeting on 26 August 2025.
Integrated Planning and Reporting
Integrated Planning and Reporting is the framework used by local governments to ensure they plan for the future and report on the progress of those plans, in keeping with relevant legislation. This includes the Strategic Community Plan and the Corporate Business Plan, which guide a number of supporting plans and strategies.
