The centre, formerly named the Kenwick Community Centre and sometimes called the Mud Hut, has a small hall and meeting room which provides general space for regular hire by community groups and social functions.
Formerly known as the Thornlie Community Centre, the main function of this Centre is to provide community spaces with a focus on small scale sport, recreation and general activities.

The Thornlie Park Centre is the City's newest community centre located on Thornlie Avenue in Thornlie. This purpose built centre is home to the Thornlie Bowling Club and Thornlie Tennis Club, as well as providing two hireable community spaces.Â
