Deputy Mayor, Cr Serena Williamson Serena is a dedicated Councillor with a passion for making the City of Gosnells an exceptional place to live and raise a family. Her commitment to sustainable practices, economic well-being, and environmental preservation reflects her determination to ensure a prosperous and harmonious community for all residents and future generations.
Cr Peter Abetz Since being elected to Council in 2017, Peter has brought a wide range of professional and life experiences to local government. His passion is to help make the City of Gosnells a great place to live and bring up a family.
Cr Aaron Adams Aaron has been a Councillor for the past 5 years and has dedicated his time to helping residents. He was the owner/operator of a small business in the City of Gosnells for 21 years and has lived in Thornlie with his family for the past 25 years.
Cr Dillon Mason Dillon lives in the City of Gosnells with his wife. He has spent over a decade working in the education sector in a variety of roles, primarily as a primary school teacher
I am honoured to have been elected as a City of Gosnells Councillor, representing the vibrant community of Thornlie where I have proudly resided for over 15 years.
Cr Glenn Dewhurst Glenn has been a Councillor for the past 12 years, spending 2 years as Mayor in 2017 and 2018. Even though the Mayoral role was turbulent, it was necessary to shake up the Council, of which he was able to do.
Cr Malik Sajjad A Huntingdale resident, lived in Australia for more than 20 years including the past decade in the City of Gosnells. Malik is an active social sports participant and a proud committee member at the Thornlie Tennis Club.
Diane has lived with her husband Jon and their two boys Sam and Will in Gosnells for over a decade. She has a close connection with the Gosnells community having run a self-funded Eco Community Hub, Jacaranda House and being the Co-founder of the local not-for-profit Sam’s Spares with her 19-year-old son Sam.
Cr Leah Szczyglak Leah grew up in Thornlie and graduated from Thornlie Senior High School. With her partner, she chose to raise her family in Martin in the beautiful rural part of the City of Gosnells. Public speaking is one of her strengths and she is not afraid to ask hard questions or to take part in difficult conversations.
Cr Balli Singh JP Balli has been an active member within the City of Gosnells community for the past 14 years. He has volunteered his time to assist residents with business continuity, bereavement services, food relief for struggling families and individuals as well as student assistance to name a few. He continues to work with various multicultural communities to assist them integrate into the Australian way of life and hopes to bring transparency, accountability, growth and community concerns to the forefront during his term on Council.
Cr Emma Zhang Emma Zhang has been living in the City of Gosnells since 2012 and brings her extensive professional background and decision-making skills to the local council.
