Venue hire

The Don Russell Performing Arts Centre is a modern, universally accessible and self contained venue close to public transport and free parking.
The centre offers two areas for hire:

  • Auditorium with a fully equipped theatre and tiered seating for 235 people, modern audio and lighting systems, a stage and backstage
    area featuring a separate dressing room and green room with full amenities. An easy access drive-in loading bay access. Suitable for theatre productions, presentations, conferences, product launches, award nights, school graduations, seminars and performances.
  • Studio with a professional dance floor, mirrors, curtaining and ballet bar, this space is versatile in it's room layout making it suitable for dancing, meetings, workshops and conferences.
  • Additional rooms can be hired with either of the above main rooms including, the food preparation area, and undercover courtyard.
  • The venue is available to hire between the hours of 7:00am and 11:45pm, 7 days a week.

DRPAC is also available to hire:

  • Auditorium with a fully equipped professional theatre and tiered seating for 235 people
  • State-of-the-art audio and lighting systems
  • Intimate stage and backstage area, dressing room and room with amenities, and a drive-in loading bay
  • Suitable for presentations, conferences, product launches, award nights, school graduations, seminars and performances
  • Studio room with sprung wooden floors and versatile layout – suitable for meetings, workshops and conferences for up to 80 people
  • Foyer with comfortable seating and spaces to mingle, mix or gather in groups. This is a common area the perfect setting for networking and pre and post event drinks
