Opened in September 2009, the Amherst Village Library is a vibrant and popular facility within the local community. The library is housed in the Amherst Village Community Centre along with the Underground Youth Centre, Community Hall and Meeting Rooms.

Amherst Village Library has recently introduced the CoGLAB maker space, which along with the Digitisation Station and the many programs and events available, makes this library buzz with activity most days.
