Do you need to consult a Justice of the Peace (JP)? JPs are able to witness affidavits, statutory declarations and certify documents, among other things.
Bookings are not required. Please ask library staff for a numbered token on arrival.
Days and times
Mondays and Wednesdays, 2pm - 4pm (see listed dates)
Fortnightly Tuesdays, 4.30pm - 6pm (see listed dates)
Please note: The Justice of the Peace service is provided free of charge to the community. JPs will accept no more than 20 pages per applicant.
Library staff are unable to act as witnesses for documents. If your document requires a second witness, please bring your own to the session.
JPs work on a voluntary basis, so will sometimes be unavailable. Session details will be updated when possible.
