To acknowledge and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures, all community members are invited to the City of Gosnells NAIDOC Flag Raising Ceremony.

This year’s National NAIDOC theme, Keep the fire burning! Blak, loud and proud! honours the enduring strength and vitality of First Nations culture - with fire a symbol of connection to Country, to each other, and to the rich tapestry of traditions that define Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Flag Raising Ceremony will feature the official raising of the Aboriginal, Torres Strait Islander and Australian flags.

This free community event will include traditional dance, an art display and light lunch incorporating traditional foods.
