Optus Stadium Tour with The Shack Crew

Whether you're into sport, design, or just keen to explore something epic - the Optus Stadium Tour is one you won't want to miss! Get a behind-the-scenes look at this massive venue with the Shack youth workers:

   🦅⚓- Sit where the West Coast Eagles and Fremantle Dockers AFL teams prepare for battle. 
   💺 - Visit the media centre, coaches' box, and players changerooms.
    📷- Snap pics with epic city and river views from inside one of the world's best stadiums! 

Following the stadium tour, participants will walk to the nearby Burswood Peninsula Park to enjoy lunch together before heading back to the Shack youth space. 

Tour specifics and registration requirements

• Participants aged 10-18 years are eligible to register for this tour. Those who do not meet this registration requirement will have their enrolment cancelled. 
• Registered participants will meet at The Shack at 9:30am before heading to Optus Stadium in Burswood.  Parents/guardians will be responsible for sourcing alternative transport if participants are late. 

• It is essential for participants to:

  -  wear appropriate, enclosed footwear (suitable for walking outdoors)
  -  bring and take sun protection measures (wearing hats and sunscreen)
  -  bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the activity

• Lunch is provided. 
   

How to Register

🗓️  Enrolments open Tuesday, 16 September 2025 at 8:30am. 

Below are the steps involved in registering your child into this tour: 

1. Review the City's Community Engagement Programs Cancellation Policy document before proceeding to registering your child into this workshop. 
2. Create an online Bookable account, if you haven't already done so. 
3. Register for the tour on the City of Gosnells' event booking website, Bookable.

• Please do not attend if you or your child are unwell. 
• Limits on the number of participants have been applied to ensure the health and wellbeing of both participants and staff. 
• If the maximum venue capacity is reached, you may be asked to wait outside until a family leaves the building (if applicable).
