October 4 - 11 is Mental Health Week in WA this year! Join us at the Libraries for a series of free workshops and events focused on mental wellbeing.
"The body is a country, a foreign or known landscape".
In this free writing workshop, attendees will explore the body through embodied poems about love, loss, desire, passion, and grief. Participants will write what they know and what they imagine of themselves and others. Working with their mental and embodied selves, attendees will take the history they have experienced and turn it into moving and evocative written works about a life lived in a body. Join award-winning poet, editor, and educator Bron Bateman in writing your stories, your world, your body.
Adults only.
Bookings are essential and open to the public on the 21st of September 2025. Click here to book your spot!
