Do you have a story to tell? An idea gathering dust in your head, or an unfinished manuscript on your laptop? Bring your story to life in The Written Word Workshops!

Join us as we unpack the crucial role of character and dialogue in storytelling, and explore techniques to make these core elements more effective and meaningful for readers and writers.

This hands-on workshop will feature a mix of discussion, examples, activities and advice, so that attendees will leave with new skills and deeper understanding.

This session will help participants strengthen the characters and dialogue in their current projects, with any and all creative writers are welcome to attend!

This 3-hour workshop is presented by Perth writer, editor, and facilitator Brooke Dunnell. Brooke is the author of "Last Best Chance" and "The Glass House", winner of the 2021 Fogarty Literary Award.

Adults and teens (16+) only.

Bookings are essential, and open to the public on the 24th of October 2024. Click here to book your spot!
