The City of Gosnells has ramped up for another Roll On Skate Park Series, where skateboard, scooter and BMX riders can develop, improve and demonstrate their skills.
The Roll On Skate Park Series will bring free clinics and competitions to skate parks across the City, until May 2021.
The series has become a popular event on the City’s calendar, attracting thousands of skate park users from within the City and further afield to participate in a series of free clinics and competitions.
Among the main attractions will be a series of Learn 2 Skateboard clinics hosted by Skateboarding WA, plus skateboard, scooter and BMX jams, and a Park Sharks Grand Final event on Saturday 17 April 2021.
Mayor David Goode said the Roll On Skate Park Series allowed beginners to learn from experienced riders at the clinics, and the competitions allowed experienced riders to compete for great prizes.
“The Roll On Skate Park Series brings together young people in our community, to share their enthusiasm and experience, improve their skills and showcase their talent,” he said.
“Not only do young people have the opportunity to improve their skills, they can also have fun in a positive and safe environment.”
Skateboards and helmets will be provided for the skate clinics. Helmets are also provided for the scooter clinics, but participants should bring their own scooter. The clinics are open for ages five and over and registration is required.

All events are drug, alcohol and smoke free.
