At the Shops

At the Shops activities are fun, one-hour sessions where families can come together to participate in various engaging activities that will bring smiles, laughter, and learning to your little ones.

Themed activities include, but are not limited to:

Crafty Creative Creations: Let your child's artistic talents shine as they create masterpieces to take home. Our craft activities are designed to inspire creativity and boost self-confidence.

Storytime Magic: Immerse your child in the enchanting world of storytelling. Our storytellers captivate young hearts with tales that transport them to far-off lands and inspire a lifelong love for reading.

STEM: Stimulate your child's cognitive development through activities that encourage exploration, critical thinking and problem-solving in an entertaining and educated way.

School Readiness: Help your child be school ready with themed activities that encourage name recognition, using scissors, practising counting, sitting for a mat session and packing away.

Important information:

• Hand sanitiser will be available at each session
• Please do not attend the program if you or your child are unwell
• Please be aware that requirements may change at short notice

While all care is taken by staff to ensure community safety, these events are not supervised. Parents and carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times.

The City of Gosnells accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage incurred by attending this program.
 

Location & Time

Activities are held at the Maddington Central shopping centre.

Children Time at the Shops activities are a collaboration between City of Gosnells' Libraries and Children & Families teams.

Please note: 'At the Shops' is a drop-in program and no bookings are required to attend, however all children are to be supervised by an adult/caregiver.
