Prior to booking into a Children and Families program or event, we strongly encourage families to read and familiarise themselves with the FAQs and Cancellation Policy information contained on this page, which is centred around the City of Gosnells' Community Engagement Programs Cancellation Policy (Cancellation Policy) and answers all your program-related questions. - Enrolment: the date the program begins for the term.
- Registration: the process of signing up for a program and confirming your place with full payment.
Program Attendance
1. Can I bring siblings to a class? |

| Children are welcome to come along to watch their siblings at a program. However… Creative Kids: for the safety of all children, we ask that only children registered in the program are permitted to participate in the activities and use the supplies during class time. Tumble Tots: for the safety of all children, we ask that only children registered in the program are permitted to complete the circuit during class time. Parents are welcome to supply entertainment for attending siblings, and will be responsible for their supervision. |
2. Can I bring food or drink to the program? |

| As our facilitators promote allergy awareness, we ask that there is no food or drink (other than water) be consumed at our programs. |
3. Are we able to organise make-up classes missed during the term on another day? |

| Unfortunately, make-up classes are not available. |
Program Suitability
4. Are there age restrictions for registering my child into a class? |

| In some cases, it may be possible for a child to join a class outside their age group, but this must first be discussed with a program facilitator. Age is an important consideration as our programs are designed to be engaging, fun, and developmentally appropriate. Approval to proceed with any class transfers due to age will be at the discretion of the program coordinator. |
5. Can I change classes during the term if I am booked into a class that is not suited for my child? |

| Parents can request a change in classes. However… Parents will need to cancel their current enrolment and complete a new registration for the class they wish for their child to transfer into. Please note that, as outlined in the Cancellation Policy, no refunds are available if this change of enrolment occurs outside the 7-day enrolment window. We encourage parents to notify a program facilitator if they find themselves in this situation, who will then advise the program coordinator. |
Payment and Registration
6. I have a credit card but do not wish to use it online. Can I pay for my child's registration over the phone? |

| Yes. Contact the City of Gosnells' Customer Service Team on (08) 9397-3000 who will be happy to assist you in processing your registration and payment by phone. |
7. If I need to change class time slots, am I able to get a refund? |

Parents will need to cancel their current enrolment and complete a new registration for the class they wish for their child to transfer into. A refund may be possible If more than one week's notice of cancellation from the enrolment date is provided. Please note that, as outlined in the Cancellation Policy, no refunds are available if this change of enrolment occurs outside the 7-day enrolment window. |
8. Do I have to pay for the whole term if I am unable to attend a portion of the classes and notify the facilitators? |

| Yes, full payment for the term is required. Each ticket secures your child’s place in the program for the term you have paid for and ensures they won’t miss out when you’re able to attend, even if there are weeks they cannot participate. |
9. I need to cancel my child's enrolment into Tumble Tots as we are no longer able to attend. Am I able to receive a credit or refund for any unattended sessions? |

What should I do if I need to cancel my child's enrolment? |

What types of exceptional circumstances that would make me eligible for a refund if I cancel my enrolment? |

| Examples of exceptional circumstances include, but are not limited to, illness and family emergencies. Requesting to cancel your child enrolment based on exceptional circumstances , in addition to a credit or refund, will require you to do so in writing. This can be done by emailing the Children and Families Team (familyservices@gosnells.wa.gov.au) detailing the reasons. |
