When is the event?
Fusion Food and Culture Festival will be held on Friday 8 November and Saturday 9 November from 4pm - 9pm.
Where is it being held?
Mills Park, 86 Brixton Street, Beckenham
If you are accessing the event by car, we recommend setting your destination to 237 Bickley Road, Beckenham where you will find parking options.
How can I get there?
You can drive, walk, cycle or use public transport. There will be limited parking near Mills Park, but there will be a free shuttle bus running to and from Maddington Central shopping centre (where there will be plenty of free parking).

Yes, Fusion Food and Culture Festival is a family friendly event with a wide range of free and low-cost activities for all ages.
What attractions will be available at Fusion Festival?
Fusion Food and Culture Festival will feature a vast array of cultural and family friendly activities, including carnival rides, a global village with interactive arts and craft stalls, live multicultural entertainment over two stages as well as roving performers and youth zone (12-18 yrs) and children’s zone (0-8 yrs).
What food and beverage options will be available at Fusion Festival?
Over 40 food vendors will be present at Fusion Food and Culture Festival, offering cuisine from around the globe. Many will offer dishes to suit specific dietary requirements.
Please note that this is an alcohol-free event and BYO is not permitted. Bring your drink bottle to take advantage of the free drinking water will be available at the hydration stations.
How much does it cost?
Entry to the Fusion Food and Culture Festival is free and there will be a wide range of free activities for families to enjoy. The City is subsidising discounted carnival ride tickets, which can be purchased at a special subsidised Fusion Food and Culture Festival price of $10 for three tokens.
What happens if it’s raining?
The event will still go ahead if it’s raining unless there are severe weather warnings that will compromise the safety of the event. Check our website or Facebook page for any updates regarding cancellation. And check the weather before you head to the event to make sure you’re dressed appropriately. If it’s raining, pack a poncho or raincoat!
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted a Fusion Food and Culture Festival unless they are assistance animals.
When will a program for the event be released?
The schedules for both stages and the food truck line up will be released closer to the event. Check back regularly or follow us on the City of Gosnells Programs and Events Facebook page, as further details are revealed.
How can I get involved if I am a food vendor?
Expressions of Interest for the 2024/25 event season have now closed. If you would like to be considered for future City of Gosnells events, please email events@gosnells.wa.gov.au for more information.
How can I get involved if I am a performer/artist?
Expressions of interest from performers for Fusion Food and Culture Festival have now closed, however the City of Gosnells hosts an array of events throughout the year. Applications can be submitted via our website.
Are there accessible facilities?
Yes, facilities include universally accessible parking, toilets and an Auslan interpreter on the main Fusion Stage. Please be mindful that this is an outdoor event on grassed areas so there may be uneven surfaces. There are ACROD parking bays at Mills Park Centre for ACROD cardholders. Any visitors who would like a calm area away from the main event can visit the Sensory Space.

Is there somewhere I can pray?
The Fusion Food and Culture Festival will have a Multi-Faith Worship Space for anyone who wishes to pray or meditate.

Will there be security present?
Licensed security and crowd control will be present at the event to help keep you safe. We ask that all attendees follow the directions of security and crowd control.
Constable Care will also be joining us again at Fusion Food and Culture Festival. Stop by their marquee or ask a member of staff for a child’s identification sticker. If you become separated from your child, please alert a member of staff in the area. Found children will be taken to the Constable Care marquees.
How loud will it be?
There will be live music performed between 4pm and 9pm. All volume levels will comply with local government regulations and will be monitored to ensure compliance.
Lost property
All lost property will be stored at the onsite information kiosk during the event. Unclaimed lost property will be taken to the City of Gosnells Civic Centre building at 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells, and held for seven days.
Waste options
Keep an eye out for the Containers for Change bins. Be sure to return any bottles and containers displaying the 10c label and help us reduce landfill waste. All proceeds will be donated to Liddlelow Scout Group.
First aid
St John Ambulance trained first aiders will be onsite for the duration of the event. Please report any medical emergencies to a member of staff.
What items are prohibited?
Items prohibited at the event include:
- Alcohol and illicit substances of any kind;
- Glass bottles, glassware or breakable containers;
- Drones or any other remote-controlled devices;
- Animals (excluding service animals);
- Barbecues or shade structures;
- Weapons of any kind, including any item that can be used as a projectile;
- Knives or scissors;
- Fireworks, sparklers or flares;
- Laser pointers;
- Cameras and recording devices for commercial use (unless prior approval provided by Council)
- Other items deemed by security, police or event coordinators as having potential to cause injury or public nuisance
