Art Studio at the Castle provides a space where imagination knows no bounds and artistic expression thrives. We aim to provide young artists a nurturing and dynamic environment where they can explore their creativity. The program’s facilitators provide guidance, techniques and tips to help participants explore various art forms and mediums through projects – sculpture, drawing, painting, mixed media, urban art, animation and heaps more. Art Studio offers a safe and welcoming space where young artists can explore their thoughts, emotions and ideas through art. It is our vision for artists to truly be themselves and connect with other like-minded people who share a passion for creativity.
 

Art Studio participants and programs

Art Studio’s term program and workshops are open to residents and school attendees in the City of Gosnells. Age eligibility varies by event and is set by the facilitators; please see the respective event listing for minimum‑age requirements. The Art Studio term program runs eight weeks on Wednesday afternoons during the school term, while themed workshops are held during school holidays. 

Art Studio programs do not operate on public holidays as listed by the Government of Western Australia.
 

Registering into Art Studio

The City of Gosnells Youth and Families use TryBooking when managing events and programs, where an account is not needed to make a purchase. Prior to registering into an event/workshop, we encourage parents to familiarise themselves with the City of Gosnells' Community Engagement Programs Cancellation Policy which covers topics around registration cancellations and credits/refunds.
