Recording Studio
The Ignite Music Recording Studio at The Underground Youth Centre is available for school and community groups during the day and open for bookings during evening drop-in sessions. Staffed by qualified sound engineers, the studio ensures a professional experience. Bookings include a Beginner’s Guide to Studio Recording, providing valuable tips to help you and your band prepare and make the most of your session. Courses and Workshops
Ignite Music courses and workshops are designed to inspire, skill, and connect young musicians through hands-on, creative experiences. From music production, song writing and beat making, Ignite music courses and workshops provide an opportunity to explore talent, build confidence, and learn from experienced facilitators.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your sound, each workshop focuses on real-world skills, collaboration, and self-expression. Participants gain practical knowledge of industry tools and techniques while working alongside like-minded peers in a supporting, encouraging environment. It's not just about learning music; it's about discovering your voice, building pathways, and creating opportunities for the future.

The City of Gosnells offers Ignite Music Recording Grants for young local musicians aged 12-25 years. Successful applicants receive 16 hours of free recording and production time at the Ignite Recording Studio, including mixing and mastering with professional sound engineers.
Open to solo artists and bands of all genres with original material, the Ignite Music Recording Grants is available to those who live, work, or study in the City of Gosnells. Recipients also receive a Beginner's Guide to Studio Recording to help them prepare for their sessions. With only four grants available each year, this is an incredible opportunity to bring your music to life.
