The City of Gosnells’ popular Safe City Community CCTV program is back for 2025/26, offering rebates to help residents and local businesses install CCTV systems.
Mayor Terresa Lynes said the program would provide rebates covering half the cost of a CCTV system, up to a maximum of $500.
“CCTV systems are an effective way to improve community safety, providing peace of mind to residents, business owners and eligible community organisations,” she said.
“The Safe City Community CCTV program makes high quality CCTV systems more affordable and encourages everyone to take pride in their neighbourhood and play an active role in reducing crime.
“Visit the City’s website for full details and submit your application today.”
To qualify for the rebate, the CCTV system must include at least one camera that records a publicly accessible area, such as a road, footpath, long driveway or laneway – and must be installed or certified by a licensed Security Agent. Systems must also be registered with the WA Police Force’s Cam-Map platform.
