Practice your craft skills and help your community at the same time!

Visit Amherst Village Library's Makerspace, the CoGLAB, for free sessions with the HDStreetwise Quilting Angels.

This volunteer group was founded by the HDStreetwise non-profit charity op shop in Maddington, which supplies donated materials. The Quilting Angels repurpose the donated fabrics into quilts and snugs for people facing homelessness, illness, or financial hardship.

Join us in the CoGLAB between 10am and 2pm on fortnightly Thursdays (see listed dates) for project sessions, where you can help create quilts for community donation. These will be free drop-in sessions, open to any community members aged 16 and over. The CoGLAB's two sewing machines and many handheld sewing machines will be available for use during sessions.

No bookings required.
