Celebrate the official opening of the new Youth Entertainment Space (YES) at Sutherlands Park, Huntingdale, at a special FREE event on Wednesday 14 May, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

The $6.5 million state-of-the-art undercover facility is designed for use all year round, in any weather conditions. It features:
- Split-level skating plaza with rails and banks
- Shallow skate bowl for all skill levels
- Pump track for BMX and mountain bikes or scooters
- Urban play area with hangout zone, social swings and platform seating
- Rebound wall and multi-purpose area for games such as basketball, netball and futsal
- External coloured LED lighting
NOTE: The construction site remains fenced and closed to the public while final work is completed, ahead of the official opening.
The City of Gosnells has contributed approximately $4.5 million to the project and the State Government has contributed $2 million.
