City libraries set to explode with science

Celebrate National Science Week at Gosnells Library with ‘STEM-tacular’, a morning of workshops, live demonstrations and creative challenges for the whole family.

The free event will be held from 9am to 12.30pm on Saturday 8 August.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said libraries were the perfect place to spark curiosity and inspire a love of Science.

“From turning waste into something new to learning about parasites, flying drones, exploring sustainable living and much more, there’s something to capture the imagination of every budding scientist at STEM-tacular,” she said.

“Whether you’re young or simply young at heart, come along and discover the exciting world of science. No bookings are required, just drop in and join the fun.”

The City of Gosnells STEM-tacular is an Inspiring Australia initiative, supported by the Australian Government as part of National Science Week.
