The City of Gosnells Council Election is coming up on Saturday 18 October – and people are reminded to enrol to vote now, or check that their details are up to date on the State Electoral Roll.

The deadline for new enrolments and changes to enrolment details is 5pm, Friday 22 August.

People who own, but do not occupy property or reside in the City, can enrol to vote by applying to be included on the City’s Owners’ and Occupiers’ Roll.

Six Councillors will be elected to represent the community for a four-year term this election. The Mayor and six remaining Councillors will continue to serve on Council until the following election, in 2027.

Voting in local government elections is not compulsory, but voting is the best way to have your say on how the City is governed.
