Get ready for eerie, lantern-lit walks through some of the most iconic locations in the City of Gosnells with the return of the popular and multi-award-winning Ghost Walks Historical Tours.

Starting on Friday 17 January, the interactive tours take participants on a whirlwind journey back in time to experience two of the City’s heritage locations after dark— the City of Gosnells Museum at Wilkinson Homestead and Kenwick Pioneer Cemetery.

Led by a professional guide, fascinating stories from the past are brought to life by a colourful cast who portray historical characters who lived and worked in the area more than 150 years ago.

“The Ghost Walks Historical Tours are a great opportunity to experience local history, theatre and the great outdoors right in the heart of Gosnells,” Mayor Terresa Lynes said.

“Last year we reimagined the tour with some new locations and new ghosts and it was a huge success.

“These sessions will sell out quickly, so I encourage anyone who is interested to get their tickets before they vanish!”

City of Gosnells Ghost Walks Historical Tours gained widespread recognition by winning a National Award for Local Government in the Creative and Culture category as well as a WA Heritage Award in 2023.

The Ghost Walks Historical Tours run for about 90 minutes, with a shuttle bus transporting participants between the homestead and the cemetery. This event is strictly for children over the age of 10.

There are four walks each night at 7pm, 8pm, 8.45pm and 9.30pm.

Tickets go on sale from Thursday October 31 and cost $30 for adults and $11 for children.
