Get ready for some boot scootin’ fun as the City of Gosnells Hoedown at Harmony returns to Maddington next month, bigger and better than ever.

The popular country-style event is heading into its third year, with live music, food trucks, carnival rides, line-dancing, pony rides, craft, activities and more returning to Harmony Fields on Saturday 7 March.

Mayor Terresa Lynes said the event had been popular with all age groups in previous years and the 2026 line-up would be even better than before.

“The City is excited to be bringing another inclusive community event to Maddington and there will be plenty of fun for the whole family,” Mayor Lynes said.

“This year’s Hoedown will build on the popularity of the previous two years, showcasing the City’s capacity to put on fantastic community events.”

Headline act The Rough Housers will deliver two sets of country, blues and rockabilly following line dancing sessions from Bootscoot'n Betty + Friends and Step 2 It Line Dancing.

Families can enjoy other fun hoedown-style activities including inflatable axe throwing, ‘milking the cow’, strong man high striker and even Shaun the bucking sheep.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic, rug and chairs or enjoy delicious options from a selection of food trucks. All rides and activities are free and visitors are welcome to pull on their boots and have a go at the line dancing.

Hoedown at Harmony is a City of Gosnells event supported by Lotterywest and Perth Airport.
