Travel from the Fabulous 50s to the Electrifying 80s in a rock and roll history tour, complete with vocals, guitars, drums, congas and blues harp, at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre (DRPAC) in Thornlie on Saturday 15 November.
Gold Logie winner, actor and performer John Wood has teamed up with vocalist, musician and front man from Rock Around the World Dave Allen to present their rock and roll journey in this two-hour spectacular.
City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the show promised to bring back all the most significant moments of rock and roll from the 1950s to the 1980s.
“Rock and roll has impacted society significantly – it has provided a soundtrack to our lives, it has inspired us and reflected the pivotal moments in history,” she said.
“This journey through the decades promises to serve up the best of rock and roll, with a dash of nostalgia and a lot of passion and talent.”
Tickets start at $34 and are available from gosnells.wa.gov.au or by calling the DRPAC Box Office at 9498 9414.
