Celebrate Australia Day on Monday 26 January with a hearty breakfast and plenty of entertainment at Centennial Pioneer Park in Gosnells.

From 8am to 11am, the City of Gosnells will host the Australia Day Big Breakfast, featuring live performances on the amphitheatre stage, native animals up close, crafts and games, face painting and more.

Mayor Terresa Lynes said the free family event showcased the strength of the local community.

“The City of Gosnells community represents a diverse and vibrant mix of cultures, including First Nations people, descendants of European settlers and migrants from across the globe,” she said.

“Australia Day is an important opportunity to come together as one, share our respect for each other and celebrate who we are as a unified community.

“We also recognise the individuals and organisations who dedicate themselves to making our community even greater, with the announcement of the Community Citizen of the Year recipients.”

Rotary Club of Gosnells will be firing up the barbecue, offering Aussie breakfasts, including Halal options, priced from $8 – $12. A food truck will also be available with vegetarian and vegan options for purchase.
