As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, Saturday 4 October to Saturday 11 October, the City of Gosnells is hosting a series of free workshops aimed at supporting mental health and wellbeing in the community.

These workshops are designed to empower people to take care of their own mental health and equip them with practical skills to support others.

Participants will gain a deeper understanding of mental health, learn evidence-based tools to enhance wellbeing, and build confidence to support friends, family and community members.

Tailored for adults, the workshops promote social connections and early intervention, while also working to help to reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.

A mindful yoga experience will also be offered, suitable for adults of all skills levels, providing a gentle way to connect the body and mind.
