Following its successful debut last year, the City of Gosnells is bringing back its popular boot scootin’, food and music event, Hoedown at Harmony, on Friday 4 October.
With food trucks, live music, carnival rides, interactive games, line-dancing, pony rides, an animal petting zoo and more, there is plenty of fun to be had for the whole family.
Mayor Terresa Lynes said last year’s inaugural event was a huge success and a testament to the popularity of family-friendly events in the City.
“We had a fantastic turnout to our first Hoedown last year and this year will be even bigger and better,” Mayor Lynes said.
“We are thrilled to be bringing another exciting community event filled with good food, live music, line dancing and fun rides.”
Performances by popular bands The Rough Housers and Country Legends and Perth musician Andrew Winton will add to the country-style atmosphere.
Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic rug and chairs and enjoy a delicious variety of American-style fare offered for sale from a selection of food trucks.
All rides and activities are free and visitors are welcome to pull on their boots and have a go at line dancing.
Hoedown at Harmony offers a taste of what’s to come in the City’s bustling 2024/25 events season, which will see the return of free community favourites including the Fusion Food and Culture Festival, Sunset Cinemas and Jingle All the Way, along with the introduction of three free concerts at Pioneer Park.
