The annual day of action for Relationships Australia Neighbours Every Day is called Neigbhour Day – celebrated on the last Sunday in March . This years theme is Belonging Every Day.
Neighbour Day is on Sunday 29 March 2026.
Help create belonging in your neighbourhood and build the inclusive communities you want to live in, one relationship at a time. Being neighbourly breaks down social barriers, reduces isolation and improves wellbeing. Connected people feel safer, happier and live healthier lifestyles.
Street Meet and Greet program
The Street Meet and Greet Program encourages residents to be proactive in meeting and engaging with their neighbours. The City is providing funding to host an event and will rebate the host up to $200 (terms and conditions apply). Gosnells District Neighbourhood Watch supports the program by providing hosts with sports equipment for hire and additional safety information kits.
Safely introduce yourself and check on your neighbours well-being
If you would like to connect with your neighbours, the City has ‘Meet your neighbour' cards available for free download.

Neighbourhood Watch WA
Neighbourhood Watch WA is a program to help neighbours watch out for neighbours. Getting involved is easy. It is as simple as getting to know your neighbours and exchanging contact information. Neighbourhood Watch aims to increase communication amongst neighbours, prevent crime, encourage reporting of suspicious activity in your neighbourhood and improve the level of personal and home security in the community.
