The City has budgeted for over 115 projects under the City's annual Capital Works Program for 2025/2026.
This will provide for the development of community parks, facilities and providing a safe road network to increase City amenity and to provide for future City growth.

Some of the projects are listed below, with funding sourced from a combination of grants and municipal funds.
Sutherlands Park
Following endorsement of the Sutherlands Park Master Plan, the City is making its largest financial investment in sport and recreation in its history. The 30-hectare site is already home to a synthetic hockey ground, indoor cricket training facility, Youth Entertainment Space (YES), seven sports reserves, five pavilions, a clubhouse, a community centre, two playgrounds and a Bush Forever environment site.
Sports floodlighting has been upgraded on Reserve F, with upgrades planned for Reserves A and B this financial year.
The City was successful in attracting funding to contribute to the design and construction of Sutherlands Park Centre, a replacement sporting pavilion to service Reserves B and C, and irrigation replacement.
Dog Parks
Enclosed dog parks are to be constructed at Oliphant Park, Kenwick and Sutherlands Park, Huntingdale.
Burslem Drive Duplication
The third stage of the Burslem Drive duplication is set to happen in the coming year. The project will continue the duplication from the Olga Street roundabout to the bridge. This project will address increasing demands on the road and prepare for a future duplication of the Burslem Drive bridge.
Southern River Business Park
Southern River Business Park is the largest commercial development project undertaken by the City of Gosnells to date. The four-stage, 51-lot project will generate new business and employment opportunities, boost the local economy and address demand for quality commercial and light industrial property in the City’s southern corridor. Net profits from the sale of lots will be reinvested into future projects in the City of Gosnells. All lots are now sold, with landscaping being completed.
Gosnells Bowling Club
Additions to this facility will cater for a growing membership base.
Garden Street Extension
Work will commence soon to duplicate Garden Street from Warton Road to Harpenden Street, and extend Garden Street from Harpenden Street to Holmes Street in Southern River. Planning and approval for this project has been over seven years in the making.
Langford Indoor Sports Centre
A new indoor netball and sports facility is being constructed at Langford Sporting Complex, home of the Southern Districts Netball Association. The first indoor netball facility in the City will include four indoor courts – three of which will be used as multi-sport courts - plus change rooms, club rooms and grandstand spectator seating.
Principal Shared Paths
Paths along Bickley Road, Beckenham, Nicholson Road, Canning Vale and from Hicks Street to Dorothy Street, Gosnells will be designed this year.
